I’m Chef Matt Kinsey and it’s spring! I’ve been here through a year and I would like to take this time of re-awakening to introduce myself and some of my ideas about the service of food at Century Inn. We’ve just rolled out the spring menus and opened for our spring hours and I would like to invite you to come and check us out.
We have been, and continue to be, a place to eat, drink, and stay overnight on the national road. We therefore owe an obligation to serve those travelers. In that vein, we try to provide high quality, historically and regionally appropriate fare in satisfying portions for weary travelers.
Please take time to look at our menus and check back with the blog on occasion. I plan to periodically post recipes, cooking philosophy, explanations for some of my menu choices, and perhaps a story or two.
